PHOTOGRAPHY & ANTIQUES

I did a course last year at varsity that focused on early film. To all you photography lovers out there, here's something you might find very interesting: the first photograph ever taken was by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, in 1826. The camera lens was exposed for a full eight hours. Interestingly, due to the length of time in the sun, there are several different shadows and angles of light in this photograph.

I wish that I'd taken these pics myself, but sadly, I didn't. The first pic is I found here, the second here, the third here, the forth one here, and the the last one here.     I would love one of those old school camera's! These pics are great. I took photography as a subject from St8 till 10. Can't remember a thing though. Pity :(
